about us

Dr Bruce Tate began the practice in September 1997 at the (former) Keilor Specialist Rooms. The practice subsequently moved to the Private Consulting Rooms at the Sunshine Hospital. When the Private Consulting Rooms were closed (where the current Accident & Emergency Department of the Sunshine Hospital is now found) the current practice was established at 198 Furlong Rd, St Albans in September 1999. In 2008 a complete renovation was carried out and a treatment centre was added adjacent to 198 Furlong Rd. This is our treatment centre for UV patients. We currently have 3 UVB booths and 2 hand and foot UVB booths. A 4th UVB booth is also located in the main practice.

The practice is situated in an accessible location (approx. 300 metres from the Sunshine Hospital) with limited parking and provides amenities in a friendly, comfortable environment.

The practice is also supported by dermatologists Dr Mignon Moyle and Dr Nishan Amerasinghe.

Our patients are referred from various GPs in and around the Western and North Western suburbs. The administration and nursing staff are fully trained to provide the required information ensuring our patients receive the most up to date information regarding all facets of dermatology.
