Dr Bruce Tate
Dr Bruce Tate MBBS, FACD

Bruce graduated from Monash University in 1982. After completing his hospital residency in 1987 to 1990, he completed research for his doctoral thesis (PhD) in the field of immunogenetics at the Department of Pathology Melboune University under Professor Ian McKenzie and (now Professor) Mark Hogarth.

Bruce has been a consultant dermatologist since 1996. As well as his private practice in St Albans and the Yarraville Specialist Centre, he has also been working as a dermatologist at Western Hospital and the Skin Health Institute (formerly Skin and Cancer Foundation) in Carlton. His particular expertise is contact dermatitis (rashes and allergies from chemicals touching the skin) and he performs patch testing both at SCF and St Albans. His day to day practice is much broader dealing with a wide variety of skin disorders.

For many years he has been heavily involved in teaching trainee dermatologists, medical students and other doctors. He was Director of Training for the Victorian Faculty of the Australasian College of Dermatologists for 3 years and later on the College’s National Examination Committee for 5 years until 2016, ultimately the College’s Chief Examiner.

Dr Mignon Moyle
Dr Mignon Moyle MBBS, FACD
Mignon graduated from the University of Queensland in 1999 and commenced Dermatology training in 2004 at the Box Hill Hospital and the Skin Health Institute (formerly Skin and Cancer Foundation) in Carlton. She graduated in 2009. Her resident years were spent at Western Hospital and Monash Medical.

Mignon joined St Albans Dermatology in 2009 and is currently also working in private rooms in Footscray. Her interests are radiotherapy for skin cancer and Grenz Ray therapy.
Dr Nishan Amerasignhe
Dr Nishan Amerasinghe MBBS, FACD

Nishan graduated in Sri Lanka in 1995 and commenced his dermatology training in 2004. He completed his MD in dermatology in 2008 and subsequently worked in New Zealand. He obtained his FACD in 2014 after training in various hospitals in Melbourne, including the Skin Health Institute (formerly Skin and Cancer Foundation), Alfred Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St.Vincent’s Hospital. Nishan joined St Albans Dermatology in 2015.

He also works in private rooms in East Melbourne and at the Alfred Hospital. His interests apart from general dermatological conditions are contact dermatitis, skin cancers and pigmentary disorders.
